Who am I?

Who am I?

My name is Kári and I am a 24 year old developer from Iceland, currently studying a Master's degree in Interactive Media Technology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. My studies are varied and I have learned for example how to apply design principles for user experience. I have put a particular focus on web development and virtual reality in my studies. I have good knowledge of JavaScript, React, Vue, CSS, C#, Unity, Python, and Java. In my bachelor’s degree I learned Software Engineering and therefore I also have good math and project management skills. I am currently doing my master’s thesis with Ericsson where I am exploring how it is possible to simulate weight through software solutions.

Snow Much Fun

Snow Much Fun is a collaborative experience that allows audience members to look at a virtual reality player play with snow.

Round Up

Roundup is a collaborative game that mixes augmented reality and physical interaction where the goal is to herd sheep and protect them from getting eaten by wild foxes.

Anicropedia

A companion website for the game Animal Crossing: New Horizons, developed in React. It allows users to manage all collectible items, villagers and music tracks from the game. It also features a music player to play the music from the game.

Procedurally Generated Planets with LOD

Procedurally generated planets in Unity with a QuadTree level of detail system and Simplex noise.
